After the signoff of the final milestone. We can prepare for project signoff and handover:

• All specified tests must pass on the staging and live environments
• All documentation must be signed-off
• All variations must be scheduled or enacted
• All invoices must be paid

Once these steps have been completed a Project acceptance is created and signed. This signifies the end of the development process and the beginning of the warrantee and SLA period for taking the new system LIVE.
